In the wholesale market in Beijing, the varieties of imported fruits sold are increasing year by year. He told reporters that this expensive imported fruit has been selling better and better since it entered the China market in 2019.

In the past ten years, more and more imported fruits such as Philippine avocado, Cambodian banana, Lao citrus and South African pear have entered the mouth of China people. In 2021, China imported more than 7 million tons of fruit, compared with less than 3.45 million tons in 2012, and the import volume doubled in ten years.

In 2021, China’s total import value reached 17.37 trillion yuan, an increase of 51.2% compared with 2012.
